I'm Brent Halfyard, co-owner and founder of Halfyard Productions Incorporated, legal entity of Halfyard Studios and Ukee Sound. My voiceover career began in 2000 after dropping off my voice demo at a local radio station. It wasn't very good and honestly, neither was I. It was goofy cartoon voices, TV skits and Scooby Doo and Arnold impersonations. Meanwhile, I signed up for college to start my life as an art teacher. After day one of college, the radio station called and offered me a job. I cashed in my books and never looked back. Since then I've done thousands of gigs like national TV and radio ads, documentaries, video games and audiobooks. I have narrated two seasons of VERY BAD MEN on Investigation Discovery, I am the promo voice for KNOWLEDGE TV and the voice of the Carfox for CARFAX. I've been coaching voiceover for over a decade with hundreds of happy students young and old. I'm a lifelong musician, songwriter, music producer, artist, novelist and yoga enthusiast. I am a proud accomplice for First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples, and have worked extensively on a multitude of Indigenous projects.
Hadih! I'm Denise Halfyard. I am a proud Wet'suwet'en, Tsimshian, Gitxsan entrepreneur from the Laksilyu clan, which means Small Frog in Wet'suwet'en. I'm a professional voice actor and a co-owner of Halfyard Studios and Ukee Sound. I am also the founder and CEO of The Frog Radio, a station devoted to Indigenous music of all genres from across Turtle Island, 24/7. I am also the coordinator for the Tears to Hope Society, a non-profit organization that supports the families of our Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG). I feel it's so important that we share our Indigenous culture and raise awareness of social issues with those around us, as it teaches those willing to listen and learn.

My name is Sugar and I'm the official puppy and protector of our studio! If you're visiting us in person please don't be afraid of me, I'm pretty small and I only bark to say hello! And I'm asking, "Who are you and what are you doing here? More importantly, do you have treats?"
